PJTALES: “A PAJAMA FOR TWO”

The men’s pajama has now found its way into women’s wardrobes too, thanks to its comfortable shaping, its appealing yet understated aesthetic, the possibility of personalisation with hand-embroidered initials, and a range of colours and patterns that is broad yet never excessive. Choosing to wear men’s pajamas as their good night” outfit are above all women who appreciate classic lines, value comfort as the perfect companion to their dreams, prefer fabrics that combine a pleasant touch on the skin with ease of movement, and seek garments that never compromise on elegance and attention to detail, starting from their refined designs.

RAFFAELLA BOREA, journalist and writer

“Simplicity and understatement are the hallmarks of my style, even when it comes to nightwear. I love men’s pajamas, especially slightly oversized ones, because they combine my classic, minimalist taste with clean lines and meticulous attention to fabric and detail. There’s nothing more charming than a woman who can wear a man’s outfit without losing her femininity. A timeless poplin with a shirt-style jacket and loose trousers is my must-have.”

GIAN MARIO GAMBIRASIO, consultant and sports enthusiast

“I’m passionate about sport and over the years I’ve tried just about everything — skydiving, diving, running, marathons — until I finally fell in love with cycling. Performance is therefore a word that’s part of my everyday life! I can only choose pajamas that make it one of their key features, along with comfort and aesthetic sensitivity. The last one I received as a gift couldn’t have been more fitting — its pattern featured fountain pens, since my partner has turned writing into much more than just a passion.”

WAITING FOR THE “XXV OLYMPIC GAMES MILAN–CORTINA 2026”

The year 2026 opens in the name of sport and promises high-adrenaline emotions for the Italian teams taking part in the XXV Winter Olympic Games Milan–Cortina 2026.

From 6 to 22 February, the athletes will be cheered on during competitions held across fourteen venues located in Lombardy (seven between Milan, Rho, Assago, Livigno, and Bormio), Veneto (three in Cortina d’Ampezzo and one in Verona), and Trentino–Alto Adige (three between Predazzo, Tesero, and Rasun–Anterselva). Supporting them will be “Tina” and “Milo”, the mascots of the 2026 edition — two anthropomorphic stoats whose names derive from the host cities. They embody the contemporary Italian spirit: curious, adaptable, and capable of changing with the seasons while thriving in even the most challenging environments. Completing the picture are six snowdrop flowers, renamed “The Flo”, symbols of strength and purity. To accompany the highlights of the Olympic weeks, the chosen anthem is “Fino all’alba”, composed by Francesco Marrone and Giulio Gianni, members of the musical ensemble La Cittadina di Seveso, and sung by Arisa.

ELEGANCE, COMFORT, PERFORMANCE: JULIPET’S PROPOSALS FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES

In the spirit of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, Julipet has created, for the Fall Winter 2025 collection, a series of exclusive garments that celebrate not only sport and alpine tradition but also beauty and well-being.

From the choice of fabrics to the colour palette and patterns, from the refinement of details to the care given to shaping, every outfit has been designed to offer moments of pure relaxation, extending well beyond the hours dedicated to night-time rest. Each night look can also be worn during leisure time at home, while following from afar the triumphs of the Italian team and cheering on the nation’s champions. Julipet dedicates its Artist Edition FW25 to winter sports and the symbols of mountain culture, a triumph of elegant and playful graphics that enliven pajama trousers and tops in 100% cotton Interlock (the Neviano collection, featuring small penguins) or Jacquard (the Novi line, decorated all over with skis and pennants dedicated to Cortina). Playful prints take centre stage across other lines too: Nogarole in 100% Interlock with its charming bunny motif; Nocera, where skis become an emblem of style; Narni, adorned with tennis rackets in tribute to Italy’s tennis revival thanks to Jannik Sinner; and Nogaredo (Interlock), Nonio (Shirt-Like), Norbello (Flannel), Napoli (100% mercerised cotton), and Novara (Jacquard), which feature refined tie-inspired, striped, checked, and geometric designs — understated yet sophisticated. Bringing good fortune to Italian victories at the Winter Olympics, and beyond, is the Nogara collection, where delicate pen motifs dot tops and trousers in 100% Interlock, embodying the very essence of comfort and creative flair. Comfort and performance also define the pieces in the Travel collection, infused with a mountain-inspired sporty chic style.

Examples include the Nador and Norcia tracksuits in cotton–fleece–elastane, whose contrasting side or horizontal bands recall vintage ski looks. Garments that, one might imagine, would also appeal to the Italian Olympic champions themselves.

6 PAJAMAS FOR 6 OLYMPIC SPORTS

Julipet takes inspiration from the world of sport, dedicating its creations to the athletes of bobsleigh and curling, ice hockey and ski jumping, alpine skiing and figure skating, with pajamas seemingly designed to mirror each discipline. There’s room for playfulness, too: the cheerful penguins that adorn the Neviano line evoke the lightness and dance-like grace of skaters; the crossed rackets running through the Narni collection, in cotton and modal, recall the sticks used in curling and ice hockey competitions. Fans of the downhill slopes will love the Nassau pajamas (cotton/modal), whose stripes echo the tracks left by skis on fresh snow. The little sleds decorating the Nocera line, crafted from 100% Interlock cotton, are a true declaration of love for bobsleigh enthusiasts. Bringing together all winter sports are the Naxos night outfits, which feature diamond motifs, a symbolic expression of strength and energy, across crew-neck and serafino tops alike.

MILKWOOL: THE MANY VIRTUES OF MILK FIBRE

Julipet embraces milk fibre to create fabrics that are light, soft, breathable, fresh, and naturally lustrous. Renowned for their antibacterial properties and their ability to stimulate blood circulation, these fabrics ensure exceptional breathability and moisture absorption. Pleasant to the touch and naturally eco-friendly, Milkwool also has the remarkable benefit of nourishing and hydrating even the most delicate skin, thanks to the amino acid components of milk. Produced through a process that includes dehydration, skimming, and rehydration of milk for spinning, made possible by advanced bioengineering techniques, Milkwool gives Julipet’s Fall Winter 2025 pajamas and underwear collection not only superior comfort, but also an elegant, refined aesthetic.

CHRISTMAS 2025: ON THE TRAIL OF SANTA CLAUS

Santa Claus’s sleigh makes a stop in Nice to celebrate Christmas Day in true Julipet style.

Dedicated to Father Christmas himself, the “Nizza” capsule collection, named after the renowned French city of bien vivre, comes in three models featuring all-over prints of cheerful, good-luck bears on tops, trousers, and comfortable nightgowns in 100% cotton Interlock.

The colour? Strictly blue, of course! To complete the look, pair with Julipet underwear in stretch cotton, briefs and boxers included.

UNDERWEAR: COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE

Ease of movement, maximum comfort, and high performance are the hallmarks of Julipet’s underwear line, perfectly coordinated with the pajamas collection. Not to be missed are the playful bears from the Nettuno line, along with the sporty rackets featured on the stretch cotton briefs and boxers of the Narni range. Stripes and tie-inspired motifs define the Giffoni collection, while the Norma capsule embraces refined bi-colour contrasts.

Light Interlock takes centre stage in the Napoli underwear line, crafted from mercerised cotton, while 100% cotton Shirt-Like fabrics lend softness and lightness to the ultra-comfortable Nola and Nonio boxers. T-shirts and turtlenecks designed to be worn even under jackets caress the skin with Ewoolution (100% Merino wool) and Milkwool (70% milk viscose and 30% wool). Finally, warm cotton socks, featuring elegant yet playful patterns, are presented in a practical assorted gift box, the perfect finishing touch to Julipet’s world of comfort and style.

UP&DOWN: IL PIGIAMA MASCHILE SECONDO LEI

Boccio invece i pigiami raffazzonati, in tessuti sintetici e dalle fantasie o nuance eccessive. Less is more rimane la regola.
