WHEN NIGHTWEAR IS INSPIRED BY WINE
With the arrival of autumn, Julipet allows itself to be seduced by the world of wine and presents a collection of pajamas evocative of vineyards and fine grapes.
White or red? Still or sparkling? Fruity or more aromatic? Tell me what wine you choose, and I’ll tell you who you are. The nectar of Bacchus not only highlights the psychological characteristics or personal preferences of those who taste it, but it also tells the story of the country that produces it. Italy, renowned worldwide for its excellent wine production, knows this well. As Cato tells us, this tradition dates back to 250 years after the Great Flood. It’s no surprise, then, that as Pliny the Elder also affirmed in his "Natural History", of the 80 wines known far beyond the Alps, two-thirds were produced by the Bel Paese as early as 77 A.D. What makes the Peninsula a chosen land for white and red wines is its climate, the nature of its terrain, the composition of its soil, and the skill and experience of those dedicated to the vineyards. These vineyards are a source of wealth for the entire country, as confirmed by the data on trends in the Italian wine market in 2023.

THE TRENDS IN THE ITALIAN WINE MARKET IN 2023
According to data provided by ISTAT, approximately 45 million hectolitres of wine were produced in Italy in 2023, generating a revenue of around 200 million euros. These impressive figures make the Italian wine market one of the most thriving sectors of the national economy. A significant driving force behind this success is exports. Although the export of traditional wines from Piedmont and Tuscany experienced a slight decline compared to the same period in 2022, the products from Trentino Alto Adige (+8.9%), Lombardy (+12.7%), and Emilia Romagna (+7.2%) have continued to proudly represent Italy abroad. White wines are leading the preferences of those who purchase Italian, while table wines are also gaining ground, showing a steady expansion. But which countries are the top buyers of labels produced from Trentino to Sicily? Leading the list are the United States, which remains the top buyer, followed closely by France, which plays a prominent role.

PAJAMAS FOR WINE LOVERS: A DOC ARTIST EDITION
contraddistingue i grandi vini italiani.
