THE PILLARS OF WELLNESS: SLEEP, EXERCISE, AND MASSAGES

A partnership between Julipet and Barberino’s brings forth an Artist Edition that promotes the value of dedicating time and attention to one's personal well-being.

Taking better care of oneself involves engaging in sports, indulging in beauty treatments, paying attention to diet, and choosing travel experiences that combine relaxation with culture. Italians are clear about it: well-being equates to moments of "disconnecting" to regenerate and recover a state of physical and mental balance, which is essential for tackling daily commitments. It is a commitment, and a pleasure, for which 56% of Italian men and women are willing to invest a substantial part of their annual budget. According to a recent survey, 15% of respondents consult nutritionists for aesthetic reasons and to improve their physical condition, 21% book days at spas for massages and beauty treatments, 15% indulge in thermal baths, and 26% engage in sports regularly, with a growing number (+29% compared to 2023) committed to gyms. The fact that well-being, in its most comprehensive sense, has become a priority is further highlighted by a study by the brand Müller. According to the research, for nearly all the participants, well-being is associated with good psycho-physical balance (72%), a healthy physical condition (69%), mental serenity (65%), strong emotional relationships (36%), economic security (34%), and a satisfying social life (31%).

WHAT DOES WELL-BEING MEAN?

According to a report by the Health Commission of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, well-being is defined as "the emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual state of being that enables people to reach and maintain their personal potential in society." Feeling good is not only about comfort in living and working environments but also about the satisfaction achieved by focusing on oneself. In summary: wellness derives from regular physical exercise, a balanced diet, a positive and proactive attitude, and the pursuit of one's psycho-physical balance, in which sleep plays a crucial role.

SLEEPING WELL TO FEEL FIT

Sleeping well to feel well: this is the premise behind the collaboration between Julipet and Barberino’s, with the motto “Time is the true wealth.” What unites them in this Artist Edition is a shared life philosophy that places self-care at its centre. This holistic approach involves enjoying detox moments through personalized treatments for the skin, hair, beard, and body, which are part of Barberino’s expertise, and selecting nightwear outfits that combine comfort, sartorial design, and quality fabrics. Moreover, the two brands share a passion for Italian craftsmanship and those artisanal skills that have made “Made in Italy” a symbol of the country's essence, passion, and distinctive style. The result is the Artist Edition By Barberino’s, featuring pajamas made of cotton and modal, including serafino or crew-neck jerseys paired with cuffed trousers. The collection alternates between tone-on-tone striped patterns and stylized motifs of razors, scissors, combs, and shaving brushes. In line with the theme of well-being, a special gift accompanies the purchase of an outfit from this capsule collection: a men's face mask from Barberino’s product line.
